Ministry Overview

“and God hath set some in the church…thirdly teacher after that…miracles and then GIFTS of healings, HELPS, governments…” 1 Corinthians 12:28

The Ministry of Helps consists of volunteers who perform a variety of tasks in and out of church. They assist the pastor and the ministerial staff in the functioning of the ministry. They also work to meet the basic and spiritual needs of many in the community through various means. The Ministry of Helps volunteers are the helping hand that rendering loving service to our church, to our pastor, and, ultimately, and most important, to the Lord.

Hospitality

The focus of this ministry is to make our  ministry a friendly church; greeting everyone with open arms. Hospitality volunteers are the first point of contact upon entering the church during the services. We serve and minister to those who attend and may be considering being a covenant partner.

Health and Wellness

The goal of the Health and Wellness Ministry is to help you improve your overall health. This ministry is designed to equip the believer with the knowledge of proper nutrition, weight management and stress management. We provide information to assist you in applying these health principles into your daily life. 

Ushers

As a part of the Ministry of Helps, an usher fulfills the role of a “helper” to the pastor, congregation and guest speakers. We make every effort to facilitate order and harmony during the services. As ambassadors of Christ, we strive to make everyone’s visit to “The City” a pleasant one.

Security

The safety and security of our members is very important. This ministry is responsible for monitoring the parking and perimeter areas of all church properties during and after services. The ministry staff is strategically place throughout the premises as “watchmen” to guard and maintain order.
